Privacy Policy
Effective Date: July 31, 2026
ProCFO Services (“ProCFO,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through procfoservices.com (the “Site”), how we use it, and the choices you have. By using the Site, you agree to the practices described here.
Section 1: Information We Collect
Information you provide directly. When you submit our contact or consultation request form, book a call, or email us, we collect what you provide — typically your first and last name, company name, email address, phone number, and the content of your message. We don’t ask for or store financial account numbers, Social Security numbers, or other sensitive financial data through the Site itself; that information is only ever exchanged after we’ve entered into a signed engagement with you, through channels we agree on together.
Information collected automatically. Like most websites, we automatically collect certain technical information when you visit, including your IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, referring website, and the date and time of your visit. We collect this through Google Analytics (GA4) and standard web server logs.
Cookies. The Site uses cookies and similar technologies — through our hosting platform (Squarespace) and Google Analytics — to remember preferences, understand how visitors use the Site, and measure the effectiveness of our content. You can control cookies through your browser settings; blocking them may affect how the Site functions.
Section 2: How We Use Your Information
To respond to your inquiry, schedule a consultation, or provide a quote or proposal. To deliver the services you engage us for, once a written agreement is in place. To send you information you’ve requested, such as our Insights content, if you opt in. To understand how visitors use the Site and improve its content and design. To meet our legal, accounting, and regulatory obligations.
We do not use information submitted through the Site for automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects, and we do not sell your personal information.
Section 3: How We Share Information
We share information only with: service providers who help us operate the Site and our business — for example, Squarespace for hosting, Google for analytics, and the email/calendar tools we use to respond to you — bound by their own privacy and confidentiality obligations; professional advisors, such as our own attorneys or accountants, when necessary; law enforcement or regulators, if required by law, subpoena, or legal process; and a successor entity, if ProCFO Services is ever acquired or merges with another company, subject to the same commitments in this policy.
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for their own marketing purposes.
Section 4: Data Retention
We keep information submitted through the Site for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to your inquiry, maintain our client and business records, and meet legal, tax, and accounting recordkeeping requirements. If you engage us as a client, your information is retained according to the terms of our engagement letter and applicable professional recordkeeping rules for accounting and tax services.
Section 5: Your Privacy Rights
If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), gives you the right to: know what personal information we’ve collected about you and how it’s used; request a copy of that information; request that we delete personal information we hold about you, subject to certain exceptions; request that we correct inaccurate personal information; opt out of the sale or “sharing” of your personal information (as noted above, we do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising); and not be discriminated against for exercising these rights.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at info@procfoservices.com or 323-691-4185. We will verify your request and respond within the timeframe required by law.
If you are located outside California, we will honor reasonable, good-faith requests to access, correct, or delete your information consistent with this policy.
Section 6: Do Not Track / Global Privacy Control
We do not currently respond to Do Not Track (DNT) browser signals, as there is no common industry standard for how to interpret them. We do honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals as a valid request to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information, consistent with the CCPA/CPRA.
Section 7: Children’s Privacy
The Site is intended for business owners and professionals and is not directed to children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Section 8: Data Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect the information we collect, including relying on our hosting provider’s security measures. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Section 9: Third-Party Links
The Site may link to third-party websites — for example, our LinkedIn page or scheduling tools. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites and encourage you to review their policies.
Section 10: Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The Effective Date above reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be reflected on this page.
